Okay, it’s the Coca-Cola one isn’t it… Or as most people call it, the day we know that Christmas “holidays are coming”.
Well, aside from Coke’s classic (it’s been going since 1995!), many of the UKs leading brands are becoming renowned for heavy investment at Christmas – none more so than John Lewis who’s christmas commercial premiere is becoming something of an event in itself.

It’s impact has been huge once again, with Gabrielle Aplin’s cover of ‘The Power of Love’ set to storm the charts and John Lewis themselves reviewing their entire social strategy to maintain momentum from the back of it’s almost ‘cult’ following.
Love is a pretty powerful emotion at the best of times, but never more so than at Christmas and more and more brands are using this as a key element to the tone and subject of their messaging.
